Do come over and enjoy this lovely green space with family, friends, or neighbours!  Spring is in the air now!  You can watch the sunlight streaming through the trees, walk around, listen to the birds now it’s spring, sit and read, study, look at the plants, or browse through our free community book swap – the bookcase is on the hut wall. 

You can help us work on the green environment if you’d like to do that – FOBSG volunteers are often around in the square, and regularly on Saturday mornings from 10am. Feel free to come over and chat to them, then they can answer any questions you might have.  You can also follow us on instagram at:  barnsburysquare_official and we have a GoFundMe page if you’d like to make a donation.  Barnsbury Square Gardens is a Site of Interest for Nature Conservation and there are all kinds of ways you can support wildlife, planting in the space, and your local community in the square.  FOBSG are also a 2022-23 Green Flag Community Award winner, working in partnership with Islington Council in this park.
