Weekly green update from FOBSG
Pairs of Red Admiral butterflies seen over the long grass on the western lawn, and cabbage whites fluttering around the rose bed. Blue tits singing in the trees in the early morning. Feverfew (below) still out in the big sunny beds and the pink Lavatera in the northern border still full of blooms. Some new magenta Salvia there too. New Salvias in SW corner are a striking bright blue; the new rock rose and other planting is establishing there at the moment.
