Weekly Green update from FOBSG

The mahonia in the NW border has beautiful chains of green berries going a silvery purple, and in the NW corner there are two weigela in flower now – one dark pink, one light pink. In the western border there are laurels with new leaves of a brilliant lime green. In the SW corner and elsewhere the fizzy cream flowers of the viburnums are out and at the ends of the big sunny beds, there are Photinia also covered in cream flowers. Lots of bees visiting the dark pink geraniums in the woodland beds meanwhile, great for our pollination!  26 04 24
