WEEKLY GREEN UPDATE

Ferns in the N border are arching gracefully in the summer sun. Meanwhile there is new green growth appearing on the photinias in the sunny beds, and the bracket fungus on the tree in the southern border has turned a chestnut brown. Dainty rosehips on the rose have appeared on the rose in the NW corner. Coal tits and young robins are chattering n the shade of the woodland. 24 07 26
